Maiya Suyunchaliyeva – the founder for youth social project “Challenge” and “Tourism and smarter cities”

Coordinator of volunteers for Ban Ki-moon Institute of Sustainable Development at Al-Farabi KazNU, social entrepreneur, PhD student, Director of International relations in YPLO, member of Friends for leadership organization in Russia 

Ms, Maiya Suyunchaliyeva is the scientific researcher and the member of projects at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. She leads the social project “Challenge” and “Tourism and smarter cities” for the Youth, expert in education sphere, brand creator, speaker. She has experience in ranking sector – QS TOP Universities, Times Higher Education and in licensing, she is the expert in specialties, EQ and artificial intelligence. She took a part at the interactive international platform «G-Global», was an active participant in MdP Global Classroom lessons with inviting professor from Columbia University, New York – Dr. Rafis Abazov. Creative participant at international conferences, as «Model United Nations» with director and representative of UN Vlastimil Samek. She is a scientific researcher, wrote more than 30 articles in innovation sphere for education sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Now she is the ambassador of OYW 2019, active citizen of British Council in Almaty and coordinator of volunteers in Ban Ki-moon institute for Sustainable development at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Maiya was trained by Tom Barktoske, the American coach and director of the Toasmasters in Los Angeles network. She is the Phd student, the theme of her research work is “Understanding of digital innovations in tourism sphere in Kazakhstan “.

Now she is the member of the council at the Almaty city branch of the Youth wing “Jas Otan” in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
