Ms. Takhmina Akhmedova is a 9th CALP graduate. She has been involved in climate change adaptation and mitigation projects implementation starting with the establishment of PPCR Secretariat in Tajikistan working on vulnerability assessments, identification of priority sectors, designing and planning of activities. Takhmina had obtained a Master’s degree in Social work with a major in community driven development, social mobilization for sustainable resource management and rural livelihoods and has been involved in the implementation of World Bank Financed Environmental land management and rural livelihoods project.

At the moment she is working as a Gender and social issues consultant in Project Implementation Group of the Committee for Environment Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. As a consultant on Gender and social issues she facilitates the integration of social dimensions and practices in project activities.
